Monthly reading roundup – April

The Tiger’s Wife, Tea Obreht. This wasn’t what I expected (I’m not sure what I did expect) but I enjoyed it all the same.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson

The Girl Who Played with Fire, Stieg Larsson

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest, Stieg Larsson.20120430-172831.jpg

After all of the hype, I finally read the millennium trilogy and was pleasantly surprised. Intelligent writing, characters with a bit of depth and a great story. I raced through books 1 and 2 over the Easter weekend, but found book 3 a little harder to get in to.

In progress

The Cider House Rules, John Irving. Loaned to me by our security guard at work!

Downloaded and ready to go

The Woman in White, Wilkie Collins. Still waiting!

Kafka On The Shore, Haruki Murakami

White Teeth, Zadie Smith
