San Francisco has always been the only American city that I thought I’d like to visit. My perception of it is as a cosmopolitan and progressive place. I got a brief glimpse of the city when I visited our US office 3 years ago, but rather frustratingly it was all from the inside of a car, so I’m really looking forward to getting out on foot and exploring.
This week we booked tickets to go to Alcatraz on one of the evening tours and I’ve been reading the lonely planet guide too. I can’t wait to eat burritos and crab, get on the cable cars, walk in golden gate park and check out all the different areas like Chinatown. We arrive in exactly one month’s time!
